TheSoftware Engineer II is part of the team that develops the TrakSYS™ product, with responsibilities spanning design, development, documentation, and testing.\nResponsibilities\nProduct Development (approximately 80%)\nDesign, develop, document, and test the TrakSYS™ platform as part of a development team.\nWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code.\nLearn and apply the Parsec development methodology and related tools.\nEvaluate the tradeoffs of different technical approaches.\nWork across the organization to reach consensus on solutions and drive them to completion.\nTake ownership of assigned features.\nPlan and document technical specifications for features and system design.\nPerform peer code reviews on pull requests.\nUse AI-augmented development practices and help expand these capabilities across the team.\nTesting and Support (approximately 20%)\nCreate and execute test cases.\nAssist the technical support team in troubleshooting potential application issues.\nContinue developing skills in relevant development technologies, the TrakSYS™ platform, and the manufacturing industry.\nQualifications\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of software development experience in a related field.\nRequired Skills\nMicrosoft .NET development (C# .NET / ASP.NET)\nMicrosoft SQL Server development\nWeb development (HTML, XML, JavaScript)\nStrong familiarity with Windows client and server operating systems\nExperience with SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps\nExperience with Azure or AWS cloud technologies\nPreferred Skills\nTypeScript\nBootstrap CSS framework\nUnit testing\nManufacturing and process automation experience\nAttributes\nWorks effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nSelf-motivated, with strong initiative.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nCurious, with an interest in learning new things.\nListens well and follows through on commitments.\nDetail oriented.\nCompensation / Benefits \n$120,000 -
