The successful applicant should have strong computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD are a plus).3-month position (May 2027 through August 2027)\n8-month position (May 2027 through December 2027)\nJob Description:\nDuties / Tasks:\nDuties at the surface coal mine will be wide and varied, based on the needs of the operation. These duties may include all or some of the following:\nSurveying - Assist the survey crew with office computations and fieldwork utilizing GPS, drones, robotic total station, or a remote-controlled boat.\nComputer - Work with various forms of engineering/surveying data to produce reports or studies.\nPermitting - Assist in the preparation of mining maps and permits.
