POSITION SUMMARY

Scanning paper charts into Electronic Health Record

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and workplace safety.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in scheduling and billing software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Experience posting and balancing charges and collecting co-pays.
• Professional demeanor with a patient-centered approach.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.

• Fast-paced, patient-centered environment with frequent interaction with patients, staff, and providers.
• Exposure to confidential patient information and standard office equipment.
• Work schedule will be determined in coordination with management and are subject to change based on business needs and managerial discretion.
• Monday- Friday 5:00pm-8:30pm
