They are not meant to be all inclusive and are subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodations or other business reasons.\nGeneral Purpose of the Position:\nThe Senior Accountant supports day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities. This role will be responsible for preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with key close processes across multiple areas of the balance sheet and P&L.\nThe Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and broader finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and timely completion of all close-related responsibilities.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n· Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reclassifications\n· Consolidate multiple entities and several currencies\n· Support intercompany billing and prepare eliminations and reconciliations\n· Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for audit and reporting purposes\n· Perform account reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner\n· Support month-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and reporting is accurate\n· Assist with fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation\n· Maintain and track prepaid expenses and related amortization schedules\n· Record and reconcile P-card (procurement card) activity, including accruals and postings\n· Contribute to process improvements and help strengthen internal controls\n· Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete financial data\n· Analyze accounts for proper financial reporting classification\n· Other duties as assigned\nSkills and Abilities Required:\n· Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and data entry accuracy\n· Analytical Skills: Ability to identify discrepancies, resolve invoice issues, and maintain accurate financial records\n· Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage high-volume invoice processing\n· Communication Skills: Effective interaction with vendors, internal departments, and management\nContacts:\n· Accounting Department\n· Frequent contacts both inside and outside the organization, including employees at all levels of the organization both domestic and international.\nDecision/Judgment:\n· Significant day-to-day independent decision-making and discretion guided by procedures and supported by supervision of Controller as required\nEffort/Working Conditions:\n· General industrial office environment\n· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\n· Requires some extended hours to support projects as needed\nEducation and Experience Required:\n· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance\n· 3-5+ years of accounting experience (public or private)\n· CPA or CPA eligibility\nBenefits\nBenefits eligibility is subject to company policy and applicable plan terms.
