For more information, visitwww.integrichain.com, or follow us on LinkedIn.\n Your mission at IntegriChain:\nThe mission of the Data Engineer is to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines and warehouse models that turn complex life science and healthcare data into clean, trusted datasets that power analytics and decision-making.\nWhat you’ll do to thrive in this role:\nDevelop scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines using dbt, Python, or other ELT tools\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable data orchestration and transformation processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness\nBuild and maintain scalable, complex dbt models\nDevelop data warehouse structures, including dimension and fact tables\nImplement Type 1 and Type 2 slowly changing dimensions (SCDs) to accurately capture historical and current data\nManage and execute data mart updates to support downstream reporting and analytics\nBuild conformed dimensions through integration with Master Data Management (MDM) systems\nWork with life science and healthcare datasets, applying domain knowledge to ensure data quality and relevance\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions\nPartner closely with data analysts and data scientists to deliver clean, well-structured datasets for analysis and modeling\nCollaborate with fellow engineers across Git repositories, following sound version control and code review practices\n What you’ll bring to the table:\nBachelor’s degree (B.Tech or B.E.) in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline and/or equivalent practical experience\nAdvanced SQL skills, including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries across large datasets\nStrong expertise in data warehouse development and concepts, including dimensional modeling, Type 1/Type 2 SCDs, data mart updates, and conformed dimensions via MDM integration\nHands-on proficiency with ETL tools such as dbt, Python, SSIS, or PowerCenter\nProven ability to design and build ETL/ELT pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain\nDemonstrated experience working with Git and collaborating with other engineers across repositories\nAvailability to work with meaningful overlap with US Eastern business hours\nExperience working with life science or healthcare data and an understanding of its quality and compliance considerations\nWorking knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS\nPractical experience building and optimizing workloads in Snowflake, preferred\nPractical experience building and maintaining complex dbt models, including testing and documentation, preferred\nSnowflake or dbt certification, preferred\nAdditional Information:\nWorking hours: This is a fully remote role based in India, with working hours aligned to US Eastern Time, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday.
