The role combines manual testing with growing ownership of test automation, and is a good fit for someone ready to move beyond executing test cases toward shaping how quality is built into the product.\nKey responsibilities\nReview product requirements, user stories and designs to identify gaps, edge cases and testability concerns early.\nWrite clear, well-structured test plans, test cases and test scenarios for new features and regression coverage.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory and UI/UX testing across web and/or mobile applications.\nTest REST APIs using tools such as Postman, validating responses, status codes, error handling and data integrity.\nBuild and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API flows, and contribute to growing the automation suite.\nLog, track and retest defects in a bug tracker (e.g. ClickUp, Jira), with clear reproduction steps, evidence and severity/priority.\nRun basic database checks using SQL to validate data at the backend.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, refinement and retrospectives.\nSupport release readiness, including sign-off testing and post-release verification.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test results.\nHelp improve QA processes, documentation and team best practices.\nRequired qualifications\n2-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\nSolid understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nStrong knowledge of testing techniques: boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, negative testing, exploratory testing.\nHands-on experience with API testing (Postman or similar).\nWorking experience with at least one automation framework: like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium etc .\nProgramming/scripting skills in .Net Core, JavaScript or Java.\nWorking knowledge of SQL for data validation.\nExperience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and ClickUp.\nFamiliarity with Git and version control workflows.\nStrong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication.\nNice to have\nExperience testing AI/LLM-powered features, e.g. evaluating output accuracy and consistency, hallucinations, bias and prompt edge cases.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted testing tools for test generation, maintenance or analysis.\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.\nExposure to performance/load testing (e.g. JMeter, k6).\nBasic understanding of security testing concepts (e.g. OWASP Top 10).\nFamiliarity with BDD tools (e.g. Cucumber) or the Page Object Model.\nExperience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) or Docker.\nAny experience with claims management, e.g. testing claims systems or workflows such as intake, validation, adjudication and settlement.\nExperience working on US healthcare domain products, including familiarity with handling sensitive patient data (e.g. HIPAA awareness).\nKey competencies\nAnalytical thinking: breaks down
