The role ensures reliable, safe, and efficient movement of wafers, FOUPs (Front Opening Unified Pods), and materials between tools and stockers. This group plays a critical role in advancing Intel's broader mission to lead in the semiconductor industry and drive global technological innovation. \nKey Responsibilities\n- Monitor AMHS hardware performance and reliability.\n- Improve AMHS availability, throughput, and efficiency.\n- Provide engineering support to technicians and manufacturing teams and Serve as the hardware subject matter expert (SME).\n- Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve automation system problems and optimize performance. \n- Collaborate with technicians and cross-functional teams to implement predictive, prescriptive, and preventative maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment. \n- Utilize data analytics to identify and address issues in manufacturing systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives. \n- Work with vendors to troubleshoot existing and new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing readiness standards. \n- Lead project management efforts for system upgrades, equipment installations, and factory ramp activities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and post-implementation reviews. \n- Monitor system performance metrics and create improvement roadmaps to enhance equipment availability, quality, and productivity.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications\n- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electro-Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. \n- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in an engineering role focused on manufacturing systems. \n- Strong data analytics capability and statistical process analysis skills. \n- Familiarity with automation systems and related troubleshooting processes. \n- Ability to adhere to procedures and change control processes with precision and reliability. \nPreferred Qualifications\n- Mechanical and Electrical Engineering fundamentals\n- PLC and control systems knowledge\n- Failure analysis and problem-solving\n- Data analysis and reliability engineering\n- Project management\n- Semiconductor manufacturing knowledge\n- Communication and stakeholder management\n- Advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. \n- Experience developing and implementing maintenance programs for automated systems. \n- Proven ability to investigate equipment failures and apply corrective and preventative actions. \n- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \n- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment. \n- Background in developing and managing continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing equipment. \n- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support global manufacturing facilities. \nWe are seeking dynamic and passionate professionals ready to make an impact within a fast-paced and innovative environment.
