In this role, you will design, develop, test, and debug software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by cross-functional teams in the design of hardware products, process design, and manufacturing. You will play a critical role in enabling engineering productivity by building robust, scalable, and efficient automation solutions that support the full hardware design lifecycle.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and debug software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation environments.\nCapture user stories and requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into actionable technical solutions.\nWrite both functional and test code to ensure high-quality, maintainable software deliverables.\nAutomate build and deployment pipelines to streamline tool delivery and updates.\nPerform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of software tools to validate functionality and reliability.\nDevelop and maintain scripts and automation frameworks to support physical design, place and route, and DRC verification workflows.\nCollaborate with hardware design, process design, and manufacturing teams to identify automation opportunities and improve design methodologies.\nSupport the administration, deployment, and maintenance of CAD software and EDA tool infrastructure.\nDevelop job management tools on distributed computing systems to optimize resource utilization and workflow efficiency.\nStandardize and document processes through workflows, templates, and reusable automation components.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of software development best practices.\nQualifications:\nThe Minimum qualifications listed below are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
