As part of DCG, you will collaborate with experts in system design and simulation to enhance critical technologies supporting Intel's broader mission to shape the future of computing and connectivity.\nResponsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nDevelop and execute SoC-level power, thermal, and performance validation and optimization plan across Intel products.\nCollaborate with architecture, design, firmware, and software teams to ensure power, thermal, and performance meet competitive targets and specifications.\nEstablish and execute methodologies for validating hardware/software optimizations and ensure alignment with business KPIs.\nPerform SoC-level debug to identify root causes and resolve functional and triage failures related to power, thermal, and performance.\nConfigure and set up data loggers to collect and analyze thermal data.\nDevelop and maintain validation infrastructure, including performance monitors, behavioral checkers, and testing environments.\nProduce comprehensive validation reports summarizing activities and results and communicate findings effectively to relevant teams.\nDrive continuous improvements to validation strategies, methodologies, and processes.\nA successful candidate should possess the following behavioral traits:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.\nEffective communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.\nWiling to work across teams in multi-faceted groups (architecture, design, verification, firmware, software, and platform teams).\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.\nBachelors in electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field\n3+ years of experience in SoC power and performance validation.\n3+ years of experience in Pre-Si simulation and emulation.\n3+ years of experience developing and / or optimization of power/performance KPI's.\n Technical Skills (2+ Years of experience in each):\nDebugging experience for SoC-level power, thermal, and performance failures.\nKnowledge of hardware/software optimizations for power and performance.\nExperience of silicon verification, test program development and test plan execution.\nKnowledge of RTL language, in-circuit emulation and FPGA fast prototyping is an advantage.\nExperience with Python Programming language.\n\nThis position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.\nPreferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.\nGraduate degree (Masters or PhD).\n2+ years' experience in SoC FPGA/Emulation function.\n2+ years' experience with System (SoC) level debug\n1+ year experience in Pre-Si functional design, validation, and/or HW/FW/SW integration.\n1+ year experience on major Pre-Si platforms: logic simulation, virtual platform, FPGA, and/or emulation.\nFamiliarity with validation tools such as data loggers, behavioral checkers, and state space coverage techniques.\nFamiliar with system board design/debugging and usage of lab equipment like Oscilloscope and Logic analyzer.\nExperience with performance modeling, benchmarking, and validation infrastructure setup.\nDebugging experience for SoC-level power, thermal, and performance failures.\nKnowledge of hardware/software optimizations for power and performance.\nWe're excited to see how your skills and experience can contribute to Intel's success.
