Our work directly influences software performance across cloud, AI, enterprise, and HPC workloads worldwide.\nThis role offers a unique opportunity to solve complex technical challenges, collaborate with leading compiler experts, and shape the future of software optimization technologies.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Senior Compiler Engineer, you will play a critical role in advancing compiler technologies that deliver exceptional performance and scalability across Intel architectures.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDesigning, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining advanced compiler technologies and software components.\nDriving the implementation of new compiler features and resolving complex software defects.\nAnalyzing real-world applications, workloads, and benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities.\nImproving the performance and efficiency of compiler-generated code for Intel CPU architectures.\nConducting functional, performance, scalability, and stress testing to ensure product quality and reliability.\nPartnering with hardware architects and platform teams to enable new processor capabilities.\nCollaborating across global engineering, validation, and performance teams to deliver high-quality products.\nContributing to open-source compiler initiatives and industry standards where appropriate.\nProviding technical leadership and mentorship within the engineering organization.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Informatics, or a related technical field.\n6+ years of professional software development experience using C/C++.\nStrong background in object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures.\nExperience optimizing software for CPU performance and efficiency.\nExcellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrated ability to independently drive technical investigations and deliver solutions.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills within global engineering environments.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.\nExperience with vectorization technologies and parallel programming models such as OpenMP.\nExperience with compiler development using LLVM or similar compiler frameworks.\nKnowledge of assemblers, linkers, and low-level system software.\nStrong understanding of compiler optimizations, code generation, and CPU architecture.\nExperience analyzing and tuning software performance across complex workloads.\nFamiliarity with performance profiling and analysis tools such as perf or equivalent solutions.\nWhy Join Intel?\nWorking at Intel means contributing to technologies that power some of the world's most advanced computing systems.
