Joining this group provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment committed to operational excellence and employee well-being.\nKey Responsibilities\n- Respond promptly to safety incidents, accidents, and alarms, including hazardous material leaks, odors, spills, and medical concerns. \n- Investigate incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. \n- Document all safety reports, incidents, and activities occurring during shifts, maintaining accurate and detailed records. \n- Conduct regular site walkthroughs to identify potential hazards and ensure a physical presence across the factory. \n- Collaborate with project teams to ensure safety compliance during equipment installations, startups, and retirements. \n- Provide technical expertise on emergency response protocols and actively participate in planning safety initiatives. \n- Lead, mentor, and coach shift safety and emergency response teams, ensuring alignment with safety goals and readiness for emergencies. \n- Develop and deliver safety training sessions, drills, and scenario updates to team members as needed. \n- Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades on safety equipment, supplies, and emergency resources to ensure optimal functionality. \n- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of safety equipment and emergency supplies, ensuring their availability when needed. \n- Partner with other departments to implement safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement measures.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications\n- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of hands-on experience in safety, emergency response, or a related domain OR an Associate degree in a relevant field with 3-6 years of applicable experience. \n- Proficiency in incident investigation procedures, root cause analysis, and safety documentation. \n- Familiarity with safety standards, regulations, and protocols, including Hazardous Production Materials. \n- Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, or walkthroughs in manufacturing environments. \n- Technical aptitude for maintaining and performing preventative maintenance on safety equipment and supplies. \nPreferred Qualifications\n- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor teams effectively. \n- Experience delivering safety training sessions, drills, or scenario updates. \n- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and drive safety initiatives. \n- Familiarity with continuous improvement processes and safety-related project planning. \n- Passion for fostering a safe workplace and contributing to team development. \nTake the next step in your career by joining Intel Foundry's dedicated safety team.
