In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with EDA vendors, define next-generation design tools, and contribute to groundbreaking innovations that enrich lives worldwide. You play a pivotal role in design, develop, test, and debug software tools, improve design flows, and methodologies used across internal and Foundry package design teams. You will work closely with design engineers, CAD teams, infrastructure partners, and tool vendors to improve engineering productivity and implement scalable solutions that improve the overall user experience and design efficiency.\nThe ideal candidate has strong expertise in Cadence Advance Package Design (APD) tools, Skill, and large-scale automation using industry-standard package design tools.\nKey Responsibilities\nTroubleshoot and resolve user issues related to Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, internal automation, engineering environments, infrastructure, and design flow execution.\nPartner with engineering teams to gather requirements, identify pain points, and drive continuous design flow improvements, and new feature deployments.\nCollaborate with internal design, reliability, and CAD teams as well as external EDA vendors to resolve technical issues, define and implement new tool features and requirements.\nDevelop technical documentation, user guides, and best-known methods (BKMs) to improve design efficiencies, flow, and package design methodologies.\nExcellent communication and customer support skills.\nEffectively with diverse engineering, design teams, and a large end-user community.\nBuild and execute test cases for debugging, validation, and tool signoffs.\nCreate and verify unique package designs, integrating components into hierarchical systems to support end-to-end EDA tool testing for advanced technologies.\nCore Competencies\nCustomer-oriented attitude and mindset.\nSelf-driven and results-oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks.\nTeam player - effective team-work skillset to drive and find solutions for customer design implementation issues/challenges.\nAnalytical problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication skills, as well as experience in collaboration, listening and providing feedback.\nQualifications:\nYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
