You will lead complex projects, conduct system analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance electrical performance and optimize operations.\nYour expertise will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of our facilities, enabling Intel to continue delivering world-class technology solutions. \nBusiness group\nThis role supports Intel's Finance organization, specifically the REWS team, which is responsible for providing innovative facilities solutions that empower Intel's business units to succeed.\nThe group oversees essential functions such as environmental sustainability, utility management, and operational efficiency, ensuring Intel's facilities are optimized for innovation and growth while upholding its broader commitment to quality and excellence. \nKey Responsibilities\nConduct detailed analyses and audits of electrical systems to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.\nLead complex electrical engineering projects, including design collaboration, construction oversight, and cross-functional coordination.\nDevelop, review, and approve electrical specifications and maintenance procedures related to power supply units and battery backup systems.\nMonitor trends in equipment utilization, system capacity, forecasting, and performance to maintain reliability and efficiency.\nEstablish virtual sensors to flag adverse trends, create corrective work plans, and analyze system behaviors.\nReport on equipment health metrics and oversee scheduling of maintenance and repair activities.\nReview equipment test reports, conduct life-extension evaluations, and plan long-term end-of-life replacements.\nManage critical spare parts inventory for assigned systems and monitor project work impacting equipment or systems.\nPartner with electrical utility providers to ensure quality of supply while modeling electrical power distribution systems and conduct troubleshooting, breaker coordination, and arc flash studies.\nTrack electrical load, capacity, and system changes to ensure compliance with reliability standards and KPIs.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.\n4+ years of hands-on experience in:Electrical system modeling, breaker coordination studies, and arc flash analysis.\nDeveloping electrical specifications, maintenance procedures, and life extension evaluations.\nManaging power supply units, battery backup systems, and quality compliance metrics.\nForecasting, virtual sensors, and system performance monitoring tools.\n\nThis position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.\nPreferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of hands-on experience OR Ph.D. in relevant field with no prior professional experience\nExperience in identifying system trends, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement.\nStrong communication and collaboration across teams and external utility providers.\nDemonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional projects and driving meaningful outcomes.\nExperience developing long-term project scopes and schedules, including change point management.\nTake the next step in your career by joining Intel's dynamic team of engineers and innovators who are shaping the future of technology.\nJob Type:\nExperienced HireShift:\nShift 1 (United States of America)Primary Location:\nUS, Oregon, HillsboroAdditional Locations:\nPosting Statement:\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local law, regulation, or ordinance.Position of Trust\nN/ABenefits\nWe offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
