In this role, you will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve critical gas distribution infrastructure that directly impacts manufacturing performance, product quality, and\noperational reliability.\nAs a member of the Facilities team, you will partner with engineers, manufacturing teams, suppliers, and fellow technicians to ensure uninterrupted delivery of high-purity gases while maintaining Intel's world-class standards for safety, quality, and environmental stewardship.\nWhat You'll Do\nOperations & Maintenance\nOperate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot gas delivery systems supporting high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas distribution equipment and associated facility systems.\nConduct inspections, repairs, equipment changeovers, and system restorations while ensuring compliance with established procedures.\nCoordinate gas deliveries, vendor activities, and operational transitions to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing support.\nMonitoring & Troubleshooting\nMonitor SCADA/Cimplicity and related control systems to evaluate alarms, trends, and system performance.\nDiagnose equipment and process issues using operational data, analytical instrumentation, and technical expertise.\nRespond to equipment alarms and abnormal operating conditions, minimizing manufacturing impacts and restoring safe operations.\nLead structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis efforts to resolve recurring reliability, process, and gas-quality issues.\nQuality & Continuous Improvement\nPerform gas sampling and analytical testing while maintaining contamination control and sample integrity requirements.\nSupport semiconductor purity standards through knowledge of gas compatibility, materials of construction, and process controls.\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance reliability, reduce operational risk, and prevent future failures.\nReview performance trends and equipment history to proactively address emerging issues before they affect manufacturing.\nDocumentation & Collaboration\nMaintain accurate maintenance, operational, sampling, and shift-turnover records.\nUtilize computerized maintenance management systems and digital tools to document work and track asset performance.\nSupport the development and revision of operating procedures, job plans, risk assessments, and change-control documentation.\nShare technical knowledge and assist with training and qualification of technicians.\nJob Requirements\nCandidates must be able to:\nWork a compressed 12-hour night-shift schedule, rotating between three and four days per week.\nWork in cleanroom and industrial environments while wearing required personal protective equipment.\nLift and carry up to 30 pounds and move heavier materials using approved handling equipment.\nWalk several miles per shift and work in physically demanding environments.\nSupport weekend, holiday, overtime, and on-call operational requirements as needed.\nWork at heights, climb ladders, and operate powered industrial equipment after certification.\nWhat Makes You Successful\nThe ideal candidate demonstrates:\nAn unwavering commitment to safety and quality.\nStrong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.\nSound judgment in dynamic operational environments.\nThe ability to communicate effectively across technicians, engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing stakeholders.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nA continuous improvement mindset focused on reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence.\nThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nQualifications:\nCandidates must meet the minimum qualifications listed below to be considered for this position.
