Develops programs to ensure internal awareness of applicable legislation and proposed regulations. Writes briefings, prepares, and delivers presentations to regulators, government officials and industry associations. Establishes and/or informs corporate strategies, policies, programs, and plans, to align with emerging government laws, regulations, and standards. Builds and maintains professional relationships with members of federal, state, and local government entities and agencies. Represents Intel before governmental bodies (global, regional, federal, state, and local), intergovernmental institutions, industry associations and other professional organizations for the implementation of all phases of regulatory strategy to enable the company business. Develops and facilitates highlevel meetings with key stakeholders, including congressional, regulatory, industry association, and partners to promote and advocate Intel's public policy priorities. Provides deep subject matter expertise in specific policy areas.Qualifications:\nMinimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.\n8+ years of relevant experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, or legislative advocacy.\nDemonstrated experience engaging with government officials, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of legislative and regulatory processes, policy analysis, and government advocacy strategies.\nExperience developing policy briefs, executive briefings, presentations, and stakeholder engagement plans.\nStrong communication, relationship-building, analytical, and influencing skills.\nAbility to anticipate policy and regulatory risks and translate developments into actionable business recommendations.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Law, Economics, International Relations, or a related discipline.\n12+ years of experience in government affairs or public policy, preferably in the technology or semiconductor industry.\nEstablished relationships with relevant government ministries, regulators, policymakers, and industry associations.\nExperience shaping public policy, advocating for regulatory outcomes, and securing government incentives or funding.\nExperience working in a multinational corporation and navigating complex, multi-market regulatory environments.\nStrong understanding of technology policy, including AI, semiconductors, digital regulation, trade, industrial policy, and technology investment incentives.\nExperience managing external government affairs consultants and coordinating cross-functional advocacy initiatives.\nDemonstrated ability to engage senior government stakeholders and influence policy outcomes in support of business objectives.\nRequirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.\nJob Type:\nExperienced HireShift:\nShift 1 (India)Primary Location:\nVirtual IndiaAdditional Locations:\nPosting Statement:\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local law, regulation, or ordinance.Position of Trust\nN/AWork Model for this Role\nThis role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
