You will be responsible for delivering secure, highly available, and scalable infrastructure services while driving platform modernization initiatives across physical, virtual, and cloud-enabled environments.\nThis role is central to designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling Microsoft-based infrastructure that supports Intel Foundry's critical manufacturing and engineering operations. While the environment is primarily Windows-focused, the role also provides operational support for Linux platforms, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), within hybrid infrastructure environments. You will collaborate closely with platform engineering, cloud, virtualization, network, security, storage, and software engineering teams to build reliable, automated, and highly available infrastructure services.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong Windows systems expertise with automation, infrastructure engineering, and operational excellence. Experience administering Linux systems is desirable, but deep knowledge of enterprise Windows technologies, identity services, security, and automation is the primary focus of this role.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nLead the lifecycle management of Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, and future Windows Server platforms, including deployment, configuration, patching, hardening, upgrades, and decommissioning.\nDesign, implement, and support core Microsoft infrastructure services including:Active Directory\nGroup Policy\nDNS and DHCP\nPKI and Certificate Services\nIIS and .NET application hosting\nWindows Failover Clustering\nMicrosoft SQL Server infrastructure\n\nDevelop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, and Bash to streamline infrastructure provisioning, compliance, patch management, monitoring, and operational workflows.\nImplement and maintain Windows security controls, including vulnerability remediation, endpoint protection, privileged access management, system hardening, and compliance requirements.\nSupport Windows-based workloads running on VMware, OpenShift Virtualization, and cloud-hosted environments.\nProvide operational administration and support for Linux systems, including RHEL deployment, patching, troubleshooting, security maintenance, and lifecycle management.\nMonitor infrastructure health, perform performance tuning, troubleshoot complex operating system and platform issues, and drive root-cause analysis for production incidents.\nCollaborate with network, storage, security, and platform engineering teams to deliver resilient enterprise infrastructure solutions.\nDevelop and maintain operational documentation, architecture standards, implementation procedures, and troubleshooting guides.\nThe Ideal Candidate Must Demonstrate:\nStrong hands-on experience administering Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, and enterprise Microsoft infrastructure environments.\nDeep knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, IIS, Windows authentication, and Microsoft security technologies.\nStrong PowerShell scripting and automation experience, with familiarity in Python and Bash.\nExperience supporting highly available, large-scale Windows environments in virtualized and hybrid infrastructure deployments.\nWorking knowledge of Linux administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).\nKnowledge of Windows security, patch management, system hardening, identity management, and compliance best practices.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nThis position requires regular onsite presence at our Chandler, Arizona facility.\nQualifications:\nCandidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
