Details:\nJob Description:\nPerforms hands-on equipment installation, setup, conversion, commissioning, relocation, and removal activities in accordance with approved work plans, procedures, specifications, layouts, drawings, and equipment manuals. \nPerforms equipment assembly, dismantling, adjustment, installation, and conversion activities and verifies completed work against approved engineering requirements. \nPerforms or supports assigned mechanical, electrical, and equipment/facility hook-up activities within authorized scope and established safety requirements. \nSupports equipment alignment, initial power-on, functional checks, setup, calibration, and commissioning activities with engineers and equipment suppliers. \nPerforms assigned equipment safety readiness activities, including signal testing, interlock testing, equipment sign-off walks, and facility turn-on activities according to approved procedures. \nSupports Tool Install Engineering with equipment qualification activities, including execution of approved experiments, measurements, inspections, data collection and continuous improvement activities.\nInspects and verifies completed installation work against approved specifications, requirements, and checklists. \nIdentifies incomplete work, abnormalities, or non-conformance and escalates issues for engineering disposition. \nPerforms authorized basic equipment troubleshooting, adjustment, and preventive maintenance, and supports corrective actions as directed by engineering or equipment suppliers. \nProvides day-to-day field coordination and works with trades people, contractors, facilities teams, OEM suppliers, and vendors according to the engineer-led execution plan. \nMaintains accurate records of installation, testing, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, qualification support, and other field activities. \nProvides timely progress, test results, field status, and issue updates to the Tool Install Engineer and escalates deviations that may impact safety, quality, equipment performance, qualification, or schedule.\nComplies with applicable EHS, cleanroom, quality, and work-control requirements and escalates unsafe or non-compliant conditions through established channels. \nSupports technology transfer and deployment activities by applying approved equipment installation standards, procedures, and requirements at the receiving site.\nQualifications:\nEducation\nDiploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. \nExperience\nRelevant hands-on experience in equipment installation, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, or manufacturing technical support is an advantage. \nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with equipment installation, setup, conversion, commissioning, maintenance, or troubleshooting. \nExperience supporting equipment installation or qualification activities in a semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing environment. \nFamiliarity with equipment layouts, technical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, specifications, and installation procedures. \nFamiliarity with mechanical, electrical, equipment, and facility interfaces.\n Experience working with engineers, contractors, facilities teams, OEM suppliers, or equipment vendors during equipment installation and commissioning. \nExperience with equipment testing, calibration, inspection, data collection, and technical documentation is an added advantage.\nOther Requirements\nStrong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. \nBasic understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, or mechatronic systems.\nAbility to interpret and follow technical documentation, equipment manuals, schematics, specifications, procedures, and work instructions. \nAbility to identify abnormal conditions or deviations and escalate them appropriately without independently changing approved technical requirements. \nGood communication and teamwork abilities, including the ability to work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Facilities, OEMs, and equipment suppliers. \nWillingness to learn and adapt to new equipment, technologies, and installation requirements. \nAttention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, equipment reliability and workmanship/manufacturing standards. \nComfortable working in a manufacturing and cleanroom environment and performing hands-on field activities. \nWilling and able to support work shift schedules including rotating day/night shifts as required to support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and factory ramp activities based on business requirements. \nAble to support overtime, weekends, public holidays, factory ramp, and equipment recovery activities based on manufacturing requirements. \nThis role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job
