In this role, you will support the development, operation, and optimization of laboratory systems and infrastructure that enable advanced silicon characterization and testing. Your work will directly contribute to enabling engineering teams to deliver innovative technologies and world-class products.\nAbout the Team\nThe Advanced Design Lab within Intel Foundry provides critical support for the characterization and validation of high-performance semiconductor devices and circuits. The team develops and maintains advanced laboratory capabilities that generate accurate, reliable data to support engineering decisions and product development. We foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation, operational excellence, and technical leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and optimize laboratory equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance.\nDevelop, execute, and document test plans for new hardware, systems, and support capabilities.\nCreate and maintain automated scripts and tools to improve test efficiency, data collection, and result archiving.\nPerform instrumentation setup, data acquisition, engineering analysis, and technical reporting.\nInvestigate equipment, process, and measurement issues through root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\nSupport laboratory infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, equipment procurement, and risk assessment.\nCoordinate bench setup, facility requirements, equipment installation, and lab readiness activities.\nPartner with engineering, IT, facilities, security, and operations teams to maintain a safe and efficient lab environment.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance lab quality, productivity, and throughput.\nCore Competencies\nStrong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nQualifications:\nThe Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research.
