The System Validation Engineer requires a broad understanding of system-level architecture and will participate in the validation of server platforms at the system level.\nThe primary responsibilities of this position include executing validation test plans, analyzing results, debugging hardware and firmware failures, and supporting the integration and verification of server components across different hardware and firmware configurations.\nThe engineer will collaborate with Firmware, and Silicon Validation teams to understand requirements, define validation strategies, improve test coverage, and ensure that products meet their functional, reliability, and performance requirements.\nThis is a Temporary position (24 months).\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute system-level validation test plans for server platforms.\nPerform initial failure analysis, reproduce issues, collect evidence, and support root-cause investigation.\nDebug hardware, firmware, operating system, and system integration issues.\nDocument test results, defects, technical findings, and validation status.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.\nIdentify validation gaps and recommend improvements to test coverage.}\nOptimize validation processes to improve execution efficiency, repeatability, traceability, and quality.\nApply Systems Engineering best practices throughout the validation lifecycle.\nCommunicate validation risks, blockers, results, and recommendations to technical stakeholders.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications, you must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position.\nBachelor's degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.\n1+ year of technical experience in:\nsystem validation, product validation, hardware testing, firmware testing, or system integration.\nExecuting test cases and documenting test results.\nWorking with Linux operating systems.\nProgramming or scripting knowledge in Python, C, or C++.\nAnalyzing automated test results, execution logs, and failure reports.\nTroubleshooting automation infrastructure, test-environment, and execution failures.\n\nAdvanced English level.\nPreferred Qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.\nExperience performing technical debugging and failure analysis.\nUnderstanding of computer architecture, hardware components, firmware, and operating systems.\nExperience with server platforms, SoC architectures, or data center systems.\nExperience developing or reviewing hardware-validation test cases.\nExperience debugging interactions between hardware, firmware, operating systems, and applications.\nExperience analyzing logs, system events, performance data, and other diagnostic information.\nWe welcome individuals with a passion for innovation, a drive to learn, and a commitment to technical excellence to join us in shaping the future of computing solutions.\nJob Type:\nIntel Contract EmployeeShift:\nShift 1 (Mexico)Primary Location:\nMexico, GuadalajaraAdditional Locations:\nPosting Statement:\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local law, regulation, or ordinance.Position of Trust\nN/AWork Model for this Role\nThis role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.*\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Intel is committed to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) compliance and ethical hiring practices.
