Working across Product Quality & Reliability, Design, Process, Manufacturing, and Foundry teams, this role applies device physics, reliability engineering, statistical analysis, and data science to predict product reliability, identify risks, and drive data-driven decisions throughout the product lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute reliability models to assess product lifetime and qualification readiness. \nEvaluate failure mechanisms including EM, TDDB, BTI, HCI, thermal and package-related degradation.\nAnalyze qualification, characterization, and manufacturing data to quantify reliability risk.\nConduct reliability projections, scenario analysis, and risk assessments for new product features and technologies.\nDrive cross-functional investigations and resolution of reliability concerns.\nImprove modeling methodologies, automation, and predictive analytics capabilities.\nPresent reliability recommendations to technical and management stakeholders.\nQualifications:\nMinimum Qualifications\nMS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Reliability Engineering, or related field.\nExperience of 2-5 years with M.Tech/Phd and B.tech with 5+ years.\nStrong understanding of semiconductor device physics and advanced packaging.\nExperience in reliability modeling, accelerated stress testing, and qualification methodologies.\nKnowledge of EM, TDDB, BTI, HCI, package reliability, and wear-out mechanisms.\nProficiency with Python, JMP, MATLAB, Minitab, or equivalent analytical tools.\nStrong statistical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nExperience in reliability validation, product development, test engineering.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting PRQ/qualification decisions.\nExperience with advanced node or advanced packaging technologies.\nKnowledge of AI/ML techniques for reliability prediction.\nDemonstrated technical leadership across complex product programs.\nIdeal Candidate: A self-driven engineer capable of independently leading reliability assessments, influencing qualification decisions, and driving risk closure across multiple semiconductor product programs.\nJob Type:\nExperienced HireShift:\nShift 1 (India)Primary Location:\nIndia, BangaloreAdditional Locations:\nPosting Statement:\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local law, regulation, or ordinance.Position of Trust\nN/AWork Model for this Role\nThis role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.*\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Intel is committed to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) compliance and ethical hiring practices.
