In any given workday, you will be given the responsibility to innovate and create an impact on our business. \nThis is an onsite position at our campus in New Albany, OH.\nThis Project Controls Engineer (PCE) position is part of the Project Controls Group (PCG) organization supporting the Ohio Foundry Construction Sourcing (FCS) projects. The PCE is an integral member of a project team. It also includes members from the Construction, Procurement, Engineering and Intel Customer organizations. \nThe PCE is responsible for all cost/estimating/schedule controls and for the project to help ensure the project is delivered on time and at the best cost to Intel. This role is one of the few opportunities where Cost Engineers and/or Cost Estimators can both develop and perfect project management skills working with the project team, finance and customer operations personnel as well as external suppliers.\nResponsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nCost reporting including commits approval and tracking at the detailed WBS level. \nLead monthly project forecast development, funding requests and reporting. \nEnforcing project controls incorporating the schedule, productivity, Earned Value. \nPartner in the estimate development \nDriving process improvements. \nPresenting financial updates to project/senior management with confidence. \nInfluencing cost reduction cash savings opportunities using financial analysis skills. \nLeading and consolidating project Close and POR (Financial Plan of Record) submissions. \nDrives cost reduction strategies and interfaces with local levels of management, customer finance and capital finance. \nEnsures compliance with reporting standards, local and corporate policies and the integrity of external and internal reporting. \nProvides varying levels of advice and cost information to operational business groups or factories to drive the business decision-making process. \nSupports business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing project forecasts that are consistent with the business objectives of the organization. \nProvides information and counsel in the areas of controls/risk management, claims mitigation, budgeting and planning, pricing, cost, marketing strategies, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies. \nInterprets information for and negotiates with clients and customers both internal and external to the organization. \nProvides input to management including department heads, operational managers, other departments, and senior management. \nManage change control processes to ensure deviations from project scope are properly assessed and documented.\nIn addition to the qualifications a successful candidate will demonstrate:\nDevelop and model complex financials and make recommendations. \nWork in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment. \nDetail oriented mindset and comfort with complexity. \nStrong Communication skills, to communicate trends and insights to project and senior management. \nChampion and value the safety culture of caring throughout the project lifecycle. \nQualifications:\nYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
