This role will manage multiple technical laboratory environments supporting equipment training, engineering development, troubleshooting, repair activities, and validation. As part of this dynamic organization, your team will play a critical role in aligning engineering efforts with Intel's broader goals, ensuring robust process and equipment solutions that empower global manufacturing success.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead day-to-day operation of multiple technical engineering laboratories.\nOwn lab readiness, scheduling, capacity, equipment availability, and resource coordination.\nEstablish and maintain lab operating procedures, safety standards, access controls, and equipment-use requirements.\nCoordinate equipment installation, maintenance, calibration, and laboratory infrastructure.\nSupport hands-on technical training and development activities for engineers and technicians.\nEstablish metrics for lab utilization, availability, safety, training activity, engineering throughput, and overall operational effectiveness.\nDrive continuous improvement of laboratory processes and capabilities.\nDevelop strategic roadmaps for module engineering capabilities to align with future requirements.\nFacilitate team growth through goal setting, performance management, and fostering an inclusive and productive work environment.\nBehavioral Skills\nExceptional communication and collaboration skills to build and strengthen partnerships across organizations.\nCommitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace culture that enables team growth and success.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nQualifications:\nMinimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.\n6+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment or process engineering roles.\nExperience should include the following:Experience managing technical facilities, engineering labs, equipment programs, or manufacturing support operations.\nExperience working with semiconductor equipment or complex automated manufacturing systems.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and technician teams.\nExperience establishing operational processes, safety controls, equipment management systems, and technical documentation.\nProject and resource-management skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field with 4+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment or process engineering roles\nPhD in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field with 2+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment or process engineering roles.\nExperience with semiconductor capital equipment or advanced manufacturing systems.\nExperience managing engineering development, training, equipment, or repair laboratory environments.\nFamiliarity with automated equipment, robotics, motion control, machine vision, industrial controls, or equipment development.\nExperience supporting equipment troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and engineering validation.\nExperience developing technical training programs for engineers or technicians.\nExperience standing up or expanding technical laboratory capabilities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and innovation.\nJoin us to lead impactful engineering teams, take on exciting challenges, and drive innovation in advanced manufacturing technologies.
