Health & Safety\nEnsure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment. \nEnforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team. \nConduct safety audits and warehouse checks. \nMake sure everyone meets safety standards. \nRespond to emergencies as required. \nLead the unloading of the truck, ensuring team efficiency and enforcing safety measures. \n2. Leadership & Team Support\nMotivate and lead sorters; be their point of reference. \nMentor and support Package Handlers during the sort process. \nCoach and mentor warehouse associates, including training new hires. \nRespond quickly to requests for changes and unforeseen events. \nForward special cases to supervisors or managers. \nPerform related tasks assigned by supervisors. \n3. Operations & Workflow Management\nSupport the supervision of sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns). \nSetup sorting layout. \nAssist with sorting packages and envelopes as needed. \nAssign labour and manage workforce deployment as required. \nPerform data entry as needed. \n4. Shipping & Receiving\nUnload trailers and verify freight against manifests. \nUnloading and loading of pallets. \nHandle driver credentials, BOL (Bill of Lading) exchange, and secure docking. \n5. Warehouse Organization\nEnsure warehouse cleanliness and organization. \nOther duties as assigned \nPrevious warehouse experience a must. This is an overnight position starting at 1:00am. Shift based schedules.
