This is a great opportunity for one of our leading clients in Puerto Rico. Administrative shift Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Buyer contractor to support purchasing processes. The position requires working knowledge of SAP, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Key Responsibilities Place purchase orders (POs) in SAP in accordance with purchasing procedures. Expedite material based on ERP (SAP) recommendations and action messages to support production needs. Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery dates, and open PO status. Analyze invoice discrepancies (e.g., price, quantity, or receipt mismatches against POs) and work with suppliers and Accounts Payable and Receiving to resolve them in a timely manner. Monitor open orders and inventory levels to help ensure material availability. Communicate material delays, shortages, and purchasing issues to stakeholders.
