This is a great opportunity for one of our leading clients in Puerto Rico.\nAdministrative Shift (8:00AM - 5:00PM)\nDescription:\nThe Data Scientist will lead projects and collaborate with business partners including commercial insights teams, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, data teams, external vendor partners, service owners and IS partners to develop analytical models and insights across the PR Operations Organization to answer/solve specific business problems. This role will lead advanced analytics projects from the front and will be responsible for end-to-end execution. This role will innovate and create significant business impact through the strategic use of advanced analytics techniques. \nRequirements & Skills:\nWork experience in programming, coding, system design and architecture, algorithms and data structures\nExperience with statistical software, coding languages (e.g. R, MATLAB, SAS, Python) and database languages (e.g. SQL)\nExperience articulating business questions and using programming techniques to establish business solutions\nAble to develop solutions to routine technical problems\nDemonstrated skills in selecting the right tools given a problem\nExcellent communication skills: oral and written. Interacts effectively with variety of communication and working styles.\nFully bilingual in Spanish and English\nDetailed technical proficiency with strong logical, problem solving, and conflict resolution\nDemonstrated leadership skills, initiative and self-motivation.\nExcellent time and project management skills to deliver projects on time and budget.\nAbility to communicate analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.\nGreat teammate with strong negotiation skills to work with multidisciplinary teams that relies on collaboration for effective decision-making\nHigh quality and compliance mind set to work in a highly regulated GMP industry.\nComputer literacy (Windows environment: Word, Excel, Power Point, Minitab)\nFunctions:\nLeading, using and developing data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence capabilities across commercial organization.\nLeading the projects and be part of cross functional teams on projects and/or programs with aims to systematically derive insights that ultimately derive substantial business value.\nTaking the initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.Identifying business needs, doing SWOT analysis, proposing potential analytical approaches for solutions, obtain approvals and the execute the work end to end.\n\nBuilding high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models and proof of concepts using Python.Working with SQL and other DB query languages.\n\nLeading, collaborating and communicating cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop appropriate methodology to answer specific business questions.\nPresenting analysis ideas, progress and results to business partners in clear and impactful manner.\nCreating powerful stories in PowerPoint.
