You will independently own research activities for one or more product areas, partnering with product managers, developers, and end users to turn complex clinical needs and business goals into intuitive, high-quality experiences, from early discovery through to successful release.\nKey Responsibilities\nResearch\nIndependently plan and lead qualitative and quantitative UX research across the product lifecycle to understand user goals, workflows, and challenges; evaluate product concepts and design solutions; and provide actionable insights that inform product and design decisions.\nSet research priorities and methodologies for your product area in partnership with product management; recruit participants and moderate sessions with clinicians and other end users.\nSynthesize research data into personas, journey maps, and actionable insights, and translate findings into design and product recommendations that influence roadmap decisions.\nOwn and evolve our research repository so findings stay discoverable and continue to inform current and future work.\nCommunication & Collaboration\nBuild trust with users through deep empathy, active listening, and strong facilitation, enabling a thorough understanding of their goals, workflows, and challenges.\nPresent design and research findings to audiences ranging from engineers to product leadership, and lead design and research critique sessions to ensure alignment and quality.\nMentor and provide feedback to less experienced researchers, sharing methods and best practices across the team.\n Qualifications & Experience\n4+ years of experience in UX research, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end research projects, research methodologies, synthesis, and impact on product decisions.\nProficiency with research and collaboration tools, including Figma for communicating concepts and UX research platforms such as Dovetail, UserZoom, Optimal Workshop, or similar.\nDemonstrated expertise in wireframing and prototyping.\nDemonstrated experience independently planning and leading user research using qualitative and quantitative methods, and synthesizing findings into personas, journey maps, and actionable insights.\nStrong knowledge of HCI principles and design best practices.\nProven ability to communicate design rationale and research findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.\nExcellent spoken and written English.\nPreferred Qualifications & Special Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience (UX) Design, Interaction Design, Human Factors / Ergonomics, Psychology, or equivalent.\nExperience prototyping with HTML and CSS or similar front-end tools.\nExperience in healthcare IT or complex enterprise software; experience conducting research with clinical or healthcare users.\nFamiliarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.\nFamiliarity with survey design and basic statistical analysis.\nExperience working in Agile development environments.\nExperience mentoring or informally guiding other researchers.\nNo direct supervisory responsibilities.\nTravel Requirements\nNone\nThis job description is not a comprehensive list of tasks or requirements and Intelerad reserves the right to change it at any time.\n All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nApplicants may be required to complete an online technical and/or personality assessment as part of your application.\nThe base pay for this position ranges from $64,500- $86,000/yr USD within any geographic market in the USA. Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Intelerad is a total compensation company. Pay is dependent on the position offered.
