This role ensures architectural coherence, engineering quality, and scalable delivery while shaping how AI agents are designed, governed, and integrated into blockchain-based and regulated systems.\nThe Engineering Lead will orchestrate a matrix of technical leads (Architecture, Backend, Frontend, DevOps, Security, AI/Data, QA) and elevate our engineering maturity to production-grade standards.\nResponsibilities:\nEngineering Coordination & Technical Governance\nAlign and coordinate technical leads across roles and ensure architectural consistency across projects\nDefine and enforce engineering standards and own technological choices and selection of tooling for the practice.\nAI & Agentic AI Strategy and Standardization\nEnsure consistent use of AI frameworks, orchestration layers, and integration patterns\nSet standards for designing and implementing Agentic AI systems\nEstablish AI governance (traceability, explainability, compliance, monitoring)\nDigital Assets Engineering Excellence\nEnsure scalable and secure blockchain integrations\nValidate smart contract and distributed system architecture decisions\nEnsure DevSecOps alignment in regulated environments\nDelivery & Technical Risk Management\nPartner with Product and Delivery leads to ensure realistic engineering planning\nIdentify technical risks early and drive mitigation strategies\nEngineering Maturity & Continuous Improvement\nDefine and track engineering KPIs and promote automation and AI-assisted engineering productivity\nDevelop structured improvement initiatives and foster a culture of technical excellence and ownership\nRequirements:\nSoft Skills\nExcellent communication skills in English\nCapability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly\nCore Engineering\n8+ years of experience in software engineering\n3-5+ years of experience in senior technical leadership roles\nStrong experience with cloud-native architectures (Azure/AWS/GCP)\nDeep understanding of distributed systems and microservices\nStrong DevSecOps knowledge\nExperience designing scalable production systems\nDigital Assets & Blockchain\nExperience with blockchain platforms (enterprise or public) \nUnderstanding of smart contracts and distributed ledger concepts\nFamiliarity with secure transaction systems and regulated environments\nKnowledge about DeFi concepts.\nAI & Agentic AI\nExperience integrating AI with external APIs, smart contracts, or transactional systems\nExperience with LLM architectures, agent-based and multi-agent systems, AI observability, governance, and MLOps/model lifecycle management.\nEngineering Process & Tooling\nDeep experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\nSkilled in observability, monitoring, and system performance tools\nStrong knowledge of quality tooling and testing frameworks\nNice to Have:\nKnowledge about Canton and EVM-based chains\nKnowledge of tokenization, custody, or digital asset lifecycle\nWe guarantee:\nInternational experience in a stable company: the company has offices in Antwerp, Lisbon, Krakow Kyiv, New York and operates on the market for over 15 years.\nPassionate team in an innovative casual, positive, and open work environment ready to meet your new ideas.\nGreat opportunities for personal and professional development as well as the chance to change the way the business works in the financial world.\nWork where you're most productive: remote, in-office, or hybrid options available.\nBy submitting your application, you acknowledge that IntellectEU processes your personal data for recruitment purposes based on pre-contractual steps and legitimate interests.
