Because at Intellectix, it's not what we do, it's why we do it.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelops technical solutions for the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures\nTrains end users on the proper use of hardware and software\nMonitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels\nLeads efforts to ensure data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups archive operations\nEnsures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users\nMay coach and provide guidance to less experience professionals\nSolid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, ICMP, ssh and SNMP\nResponsible for provisioning virtual and physical servers or workstations\nKnowledge of repository management practices, patch administration, and vulnerability remediation\nMay serve as a team or task lead\nAdministering systems using automation and scripting tools to include CLI, Ansible, or various coding languages\nSkilled in system administration tasks such as file system, network, and account troubleshooting\nFamiliarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts\nEvaluates existing systems and plans long-term strategies\nConducts advanced audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and guidelines\nEnsures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions\nPerforms advanced software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages\nTroubleshoots complex system hardware and software issues\nQualifications:\nEducation/Experience:\nTechnical Training, Certification(s) or Degree\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree or equivalent experience\n3+ years of related experience as a Linux Administrator\nPreferred Certifications:\nSecurity+ Certification\nLinux+ Certification\nAdditional Linux certifications (RHCSA, RHCE and LPIC) desired\nNetwork+ Certification\nJoin Intellectix and be part of a dynamic team that thrives on tempo, teamwork, and technical excellence.
