recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Quantity Surveyor\n\nLocation: Ikeja, Lagos\n\nJob type: Full-time (On-site)\n\nReports to: Head of Finance\n\nJob Summary\n\nWe are seeking a competent, detail-oriented and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to support the cost and commercial management of our real estate development projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist with contract administration and final accounts.\nMonitor project costs against approved budgets.\nAdvise management on cost control and cost-saving opportunities.\nSupport procurement and contractor/vendor negotiations.\nAssess variations, claims and additional works.\nPrepare cost estimates, budgets and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).\nMaintain accurate cost records and project documentation.\nAnalyse drawings and specifications for accurate measurement and costing.\nObtain and analyse current market prices for materials, labour and services.\nParticipate in site meetings and project reviews.\nReview contractors’ quotations and commercial proposals.\nCarry out quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.\nPrepare valuations, payment certificates and cost reports.\nAssist with tender preparation, evaluation and contractor selection.\n\nRequirements\n\nGood knowledge of tendering and procurement.\nQSRBN membership/registration is an advantage.\nStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials and costs.\n2–5 years’ relevant experience in construction or real estate development.\nStrong analytical, numerical, negotiation and communication skills.\nBachelor’s Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.\nAbility to interpret architectural, structural and engineering drawings.\nCostX, Buildsoft, AutoCAD or similar experience is an advantage.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software.\nHigh attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.\nWillingness to visit project sites when required.\nGood knowledge of BOQs, measurement, estimating and cost control.\n\nIdeal Candidate:\n\nA proactive, organised and commercially aware professional who is cost-conscious, analytical,
