Our company was voted one of the Best Places to Work in Washington, DC by the Washington Business Journal.\nJOB DUTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:\nWork closely with lawyers, staff, and stakeholders to screen files for completeness, proper jurisdiction, and other elements\nPerform substantive and procedural legal work to support attorneys and staff\nAssist attorneys and investigators in preparing for hearings, legal discussions briefings, and meetings on various legal matters\nConduct and assist in factual and legal research for each investigation\nDraft legal documents such as correspondence, complaints, and legal briefs\nSchedule interviews, hearings, witnesses, depositions, and other related discussions\nReview and build cases files. Interview witnesses\nDocket new appeals in the electronic case filing system and/or e-filing system\nSECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL\nMust be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust or higher level clearance. Preference will be given to those who already have Public Trust or higher level government experience.\nMust be authorized to work in the US\nQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS & SELECTION CRITERIA\nMust be willing to commute to the DC office as required\nBachelor's Degree required\n3+ years of relevant paralegal experience\nAbility to conduct factual and legal research\nKnowledge of Paralegal Methods, Practices and Procedures\nProficient in litigation discovery software and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Adobe PDF\nExperience with Case Management Software\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nJohn J.
