Every person has real ownership of what we build and how we grow, whilst being supported by a positive, safe and productive workplace to thrive in.\nWe’re building a business, brand and culture from the ground up - and helping Australians confidently make the switch to renewable energy along the way.\n Your Role\nAs our Field Supervisor / Subject Matter Expert, you'll lead the safe, compliant and high-quality delivery of residential solar, battery storage and EV charging installations, while helping shape our growing commercial and industrial projects portfolio.\nReporting to the Head of Operations, you'll provide technical leadership to internal installation teams and subcontractors, conduct site assessments and audits, resolve complex technical issues, and drive continuous improvement across our field operations. You'll be the go-to technical expert, working closely with engineering, sales, customer service and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nProvide technical leadership and day-to-day supervision of installation teams and subcontractors.\nConduct site inspections, assessments and audits to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality installations.\nReview designs, equipment selections and technical documentation, identifying and resolving installation risks before work begins.\nSupport commissioning, network connections and technical requirements across solar, battery and EV charging projects.\nLead fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, warranty investigations and technical rectification works.\nDrive safety, quality and compliance standards across all field activities.\nDevelop installation procedures, technical guidance and training to build capability across internal teams and partners.\nAct as the technical expert for new products, technologies and installation best practices.\nContribute to operational excellence by identifying opportunities to improve installation methods, processes and customer outcomes.\nWhere required, fulfil Technical Nominee or Supervisor responsibilities in accordance with applicable licensing requirements.\nKey Stakeholders\nYou'll work closely with internal teams across Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Leadership, as well as installers, manufacturers, suppliers, industry partners and customers.\n About You\nWe're looking for an experienced electrical and renewable energy professional who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for safety, quality and team leadership.\nTo succeed in this role, you'll bring:\nA current electrical licence and SAA accreditation for Grid-Connected PV and Battery Storage Design & Installation.\nProven experience in the electrical and renewable energy industry, including hands-on residential solar and battery installations.\nProven experience leading installation teams and subcontractors, delivering safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes across multiple sites.\nStrong technical capability across installation, commissioning, fault finding, troubleshooting and system performance.\nSound knowledge of Australian standards, compliance requirements and renewable energy industry best practices.\nA proactive approach to safety, quality assurance and continuous improvement.\nThe ability to coach and develop installers, deliver technical training and build capability across teams.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers, partners and internal teams.\nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and resolve field issues effectively.\n Why Join Zelora?\nThis is an opportunity to join at a formative stage and have a genuine influence on how Zelora grows.\nBuild, don’t just inherit.
