The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining CAD-based tools and workflows that enable efficient telecom network planning and design. The role requires strong knowledge of CAD platforms (AutoCAD/ProgeCAD/MicroStation) and understanding of telecom network engineering principles.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Develop and customize CAD tools/scripts (AutoLISP, .NET, VBA, etc.) to automate telecom network design tasks.\n\n- Work with project teams to understand telecom network design requirements (FTTx, OSP, ISP, FTTH, Pole/Conduit Layouts, etc.).\n\n- Create and manage telecom-specific CAD templates, layers, symbols, and line types to ensure standardization.\n\n- Automate BOM (Bill of Materials) & BOQ (Bill of Quantities) generation from CAD drawings.\n\n- Integrate CAD design workflows with enterprise applications (GIS, IQGeo, Smallworld, etc.).\n\n- Debug and resolve tool issues, perform UAT, and ensure tool deployment stability.\n\n- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Automation, AI/ML, RPA teams) to enhance productivity.\n\n- Maintain version control, documentation, and adhere to SDLC processes in tool development.\n\n- Support knowledge sharing, user training, and tool adoption within the team.\n\nRequired Skills : \n\n- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD/ProgeCAD/QGIS with customization experience.\n\n- Proficiency in AutoLISP, C#/.NET, Python, VBA for CAD automation.\n\n- Experience in Telecom Network Design (FTTx, OSP, ISP, FTTH preferred).\n\n- Good understanding of CAD standards (layers, symbols, blocks, line styles, templates).\n\n- Familiarity with GIS tools (ArcGIS, IQGeo) is an added advantage.\n\n- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.\n\n- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nMandatory Skills : \n\n- AutoCAD/ProgeCAD/QGIS and hands-on experience with AutoCAD Map 3D (2023 version or above).\n\nTech Stack : \n\n- AutoCAD / ProgeCAD / QGIS\n\n- AutoCAD Map 3D or AutoCAD 2023+\n\n- AutoLISP / C#/.NET / Python / VBA\n\n- Telecom Network Design - FTTx / FTTH / OSP / ISP\n\n- GIS tools such as ArcGIS / IQGeo\n\nSkills\nAutoCAD, AutoCAD API, CAD, .Net, Telecom, C#, Network Design Documents, VBA, QGIS, Network Programming","description_format":"text","description_chars":2327,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T04:00:00Z"}],"liveness":{"score":5,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.6,"p_active":0.293,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":44,"expected_fill_days":15,"reasons":["seen:44","agency","velocity","win:tail","crowd:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/intellipro-autocad-developer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/intellipro-autocad-developer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T21:08:37Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3710,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1290,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
