This is a highly technical role that combines Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and technical leadership to improve platform health through automation, observability, and proactive incident management.\nThe ideal candidate will lead a technical support team while serving as the bridge between Software Engineering and IT Operations, driving self-healing capabilities, operational excellence, and continuous platform improvements.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Automation & Self-Healing\nDesign and implement automated order replay mechanisms to resolve synchronization failures across event-driven integrations.\nDevelop automation tools and scripts using Python, REST APIs, or platform SDKs for bulk updates and system remediation.\nBuild advanced monitoring dashboards using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, ELK, or New Relic.\nDesign proactive alerting to detect stuck orders, inventory mismatches, API failures, and platform issues before customer impact.\nPlatform Reliability & Incident Management\nServe as the highest technical escalation point for production issues requiring Java debugging and GraphQL troubleshooting.\nPerform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using application logs and event-driven architecture.\nAnalyze API performance and database interactions to recommend performance improvements.\nMaintain incident documentation, technical workarounds, and operational runbooks.\nEngineering Collaboration\nPartner with Engineering, Architecture, and E-commerce teams to ensure operational requirements are incorporated into development roadmaps.\nCollaborate with external platform vendors regarding upgrades, integrations, and API changes.\nMentor technical support engineers in GraphQL optimization, Java debugging, and platform troubleshooting.\nRelease & Change Management\nValidate platform configurations and custom extensions during release cycles.\nSupport Git-based version control, branching strategies, and operational hotfix deployments.\nEnsure deployment stability through strong CI/CD awareness and release governance.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.\n5+ years of experience in OMS Technical Operations, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering within high-volume SaaS environments.\nStrong understanding of Order Management Systems and event-driven architectures.\nExperience with REST APIs, JSON, GraphQL, and Java troubleshooting.\nStrong SQL skills for operational diagnostics and reporting.\nProficiency in Python for automation and scripting.\nExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment best practices.\nHands-on experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, ELK Stack, or New Relic.\nKnowledge of messaging/event technologies such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Event Grid.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA).\nFamiliarity with ITIL processes and an SRE mindset focused on automation and reducing manual operational effort.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with Fluent Commerce, including:\nFluent GraphQL API\nWebhooks\nEssential Rules\nFluent SDK\nExperience supporting high-volume eCommerce or retail platforms.\nExperience designing self-healing operational automation.\nDesired Skills\nPlatform Reliability Engineering\nSite Reliability Engineering (SRE)\nOMS Operations\nFluent Commerce\nGraphQL\nJava\nPython\nSQL\nREST APIs\nKafka\nEvent-Driven Architecture\nDatadog\nSplunk\nELK Stack\nNew Relic\nGit\nCI/CD\nRoot Cause Analysis\nIncident Management\nObservability\nAutomation Engineering\nIf you're passionate about building highly reliable platforms, driving automation, and improving operational excellence in large-scale eCommerce environments, we'd love to hear from you.\nAbout Us:\nFounded in 2009, IntelliPro stands as a global leader in talent acquisition and HR solutions.
