The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in web test automation using Playwright and JavaScript or TypeScript.\nThe candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.\nBuild and maintain scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript or TypeScript.\nPerform manual and automated functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.\nCreate and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.\nIdentify, document, track, retest, and verify software defects.\nCollaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.\nParticipate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective.\nPerform API testing using Postman or similar tools.\nValidate application and database data using SQL queries.\nIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.\nMonitor automated test execution results, analyze failures, and report defects.\nImprove test automation coverage, framework stability, and execution efficiency.\nPerform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.\nEnsure applications meet defined quality standards before production release.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.\nRequired Skills\nFive or more years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing.\nStrong hands-on experience in web automation testing using Playwright.\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.\nExperience developing and maintaining automation frameworks.\nExperience with Page Object Model or similar automation design patterns.\nStrong experience in functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.\nExperience in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.\nExperience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.\nExperience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.\nFamiliarity with Git version control.\nWorking knowledge of SQL for database validation.\nUnderstanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.\nFamiliarity with Node.js, npm, and Playwright Test Runner.\nExperience testing REST APIs and microservices.\nKnowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing.\nExposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6.\nExposure to security testing concepts or tools.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.\nExperience with Docker or containerized test environments
