The role requires creativity, attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\nAssist the Head Pastry Chef with the daily operation of the pastry kitchen.\nPrepare, bake and present high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes and other sweet creations.\nEnsure consistency, quality and attention to detail in all pastry products.\nDevelop creative and seasonal dessert menus in line with the estate's culinary standards.\nSupervise, guide and support junior pastry team members.\nMaintain excellent food hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards.\nMonitor stock levels, manage ingredients and minimise wastage.\nEnsure effective preparation and smooth kitchen operations during service.\nMaintain high standards of plating, presentation and portion control.\nAssist with ordering, stock rotation and cost control.\n\n Minimum Requirements\n\nPrevious experience in a Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef position.\nRelevant culinary qualification in pastry or baking will be advantageous.\nStrong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods and dessert preparation.\nExcellent organisational and time-management skills.\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.\nStrong leadership and communication skills.\nCreative flair and a keen eye for detail.\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.\n\n Ideal Candidate\n\nThe ideal candidate is passionate about pastry and dessert creation, takes pride in producing exceptional quality and demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
