We are dedicated to making lives better through our empathetic customer engagement and advocacy for our clients' brands and reputations.\nThe Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions with a primary focus in California. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.\nResponsibilities:\nAdminister various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.\nParticipate in developing department goals, objectives and systems.\nConduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions as necessary.\nHandle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.\nParticipate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.\nMaintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.\nMaintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.\nSupport performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.\nConduct HR investigations as needed and provide appropriate recommendations.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.\n5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.\n5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including working knowledge of CA wage and hour rules (meal/rest periods, overtime, final pay), CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.\nWorking knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.\nExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nExperience with HRIS systems.\nPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.\nCompensation:\nThis is a full-time, exempt, salaried position. Our good-faith estimate of the annual base salary we expect to offer at hire is:\nCalifornia: $72,384\nAll other eligible states: $42,000-$73,000\nFinal salary depends on job-related factors such as experience, skills, depth of California employment law knowledge, and work location.\nBenefits: Medical, dental and vision; 401(k); PTO; paid sick leave; paid holidays\nLocation: Remote.
