This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on agent experience, sharp customer instincts, and the ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nCustomer Deployments\nLead end-to-end technical deployments of IntentLab inside customer engineering organizations.\n\nWire our system into customer codebases, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.\n\nOwn the customer technical lifecycle from first integration through steady-state operation.\n\nAgent Engineering\nBuild and tune custom agent behaviors, tool integrations, and evaluation harnesses for each customer's backend.\n\nDebug agent performance across distributed systems and unfamiliar production code.\n\nValidate integrations and maintain reliable system performance in customer environments.\n\nCustomer Partnership\nLead demos, pilots, and technical workshops with engineers, platform leads, and CTOs.\n\nBuild deep relationships with customer engineering teams and drive adoption from the inside.\n\nTranslate customer pain and usage patterns into product and research priorities.\n\nExecution & Craft\nBias toward shipping fixes and features yourself rather than filing tickets.\n\nWrite crisp documentation, reference integrations, and playbooks that turn one-off wins into repeatable ones.\n\nOperate at the edges - name problems, propose solutions, drive to done.\n\nQualifications\n3+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend or infrastructure work.\n\nHands-on experience with LLMs and agent systems: prompt engineering, tool use, evals, multi-step orchestration.\n\nFamiliarity with distributed systems, containers, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).\n\nProficiency in at least one modern language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Go).\n\nStrong written and verbal communication - comfortable with senior engineers and executives alike.\n\nSelf-directed by default;
