Supervisory responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. \n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School Diploma or GED, plus 3 – 5 years of supervisory experience in plastics.\nGood verbal and written communication skills. \nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. \nMust have hands on experience in mold set up and skills related to the Structural Foam and High-Pressure Molding Industry.\nGranger Robotic experience a plus. \nEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.\nCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for personnel performing any production related activities (Extrusion technicians/press operators, tenders, and material driver.\nOverseeing the organization’s production systems, reporting on their performance and initiating improvements for the department.\nDelegate tasks for daily/shift activities. \nMaintain IMM processes and efficiency. \nTrain direct staff.\nTrouble shoot production errors.\nEnsuring the production activities conform to the company’s quality program in accordance with the customer, company and regulatory requirements.\nEnforcing and maintaining the organizations standards, procedures and production operations, including product quality, reliability, employee evaluations and safety. \nAssign daily work assignments based on production schedules and labor availability. \nEnsure equipment is setup in accordance with customer specification, quality perimeters and regulatory requirement as defined in the Job Book.\nEnforce organizational standards of efficiency, policies, procedures and expectations in order to maintain a safe work environment and high-quality product. \nPartner with appropriate resources to address production concerns, quality issues and/or equipment issues that may arise throughout the shift. \nCoach, develop and counsel team members to maximum his / her full potential. \nPromote, support and participate in quality, operational and safety / environmental improvements. \nMaintain appropriate production records and effectively communicate with direct reports and other supporting staff. \nEnforce procedures and practices that promote high standards and improve techniques for production, cost effective set ups, quality products, reliable services, and employee safety.\nApply all company standards through functional groups.
