willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.\nCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nVerify customer requirements by reviewing specifications book\nHaving the ability to identify Exception codes and use the proper packing supplies\nMust be able to print labels at the Packaging Station and how to verify the roll data for each finished roll coming off the conveyors\nTroubleshoot the Bonfanti crane and conveying system\nOperate the crane in a safe and controlled manner\nEnter data into the computer at the Packing Station \nMust be able to weigh the finished pallet and to properly apply label to pallet verifying data\nMaintain good housekeeping and safe working environment\nInteract and communicate with fellow packers, production supervisor, lead technician, and slitting technicians as required\nAbility to operate a forklift and to stack material using a forklift\nBe certified to drive to Forklift\nAssist in any function of the Slitting Department as requested by your lead operator and/or supervisor\nReview Job Description / Safety rules and practices\nUnderstand basic principles of packaging\nHow to use the packaging crane\nUnderstands Packaging Codes\nUnderstands Exception codes\nUnderstands how to read the Set-up \nUnderstands where Packaging Supplies are located\nHow to print tickets\nLearn basic functions of the Wrappers\nLoading and Unloading the Wrappers of Finished Product\nKeep area in compliance with Housekeeping Standards\nLearn basic quality
