This position reports directly to the Safety Section Manager and at times may receive direction from the Assistant Manager. Collaborates with Corporate Safety and Plant Safety PIC’s to drive continuous improvement and maintain regulatory compliance. This roll supports and facilitates Corporate Safety and Health programs across multiple manufacturing facilities. Safety Coordinator B assists with safety audits, corporate-wide compliance initiatives, supports incident investigations, and ensures corporate training requirements are maintained. \nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n1-3 years of safety experience in manufacturing or industrial environments\nWorking knowledge of OSHA 1910 which includes but, not limited to energy control (LOTO), forklift safety, and machine guarding\nAbility to work with Word, Excel, Power Point and Share Points\nStrong communication and documentation skills\nAbility to travel between sites (~10%)\nPreferred Qualifications or ability to obtain\nFirst Aid/CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed\nOccupational Hearing Conservation Certification\nFamiliarity with Share Point systems and reporting tools\nEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.\nCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nConduct routine safety audits and inspections under established Inteplast Group Corporate procedures and Regulatory standards.
