This position does not make any regulatory determinations or recommendations. \nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required\n1 year of safety experience in manufacturing or industrial environments\nWorking knowledge of OSHA 1910 which includes but, not limited to energy control (LOTO), forklift safety, and machine guarding\nAbility to work with Word, Excel, Power Point and Share Points\nStrong communication and documentation skills\nPreferred Qualifications or ability to obtain\nOccupational Hearing Conservation Certification\nFamiliarity with Share Point systems and reporting tools\nEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.\nCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide general clerical and administrative support to the Safety Department. \nPerform routine data entry and maintain safety-related electronic and paper records. \nFile, scan, organize, and retrieve safety documentation. \nPrepare forms, reports, sign-in sheets, training rosters, labels, and other departmental documents.\nHelp maintain inventories of Safety Department supplies, forms, PPE, and training materials. \nAssist with maintaining employee safety training and hearing conservation records and documentation. \nRefer abnormal results, employee concerns, testing issues, or questions to qualified Safety or Occupational Health personnel.\nEnter completed training information into applicable databases or tracking systems. \nAssist with scheduling employees for safety training, hearing exams and other required appointments. \nMaintain departmental calendars, schedules, and booking business trips with all applicable accommodations. \nCopy, assemble, and distribute safety-related materials as directed.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to walk manufacturing floors for extended periods\nLift up to 40 lbs.\nWork in hot, humid, or noisy environments\nAbility to respond to emergency
