Starting Pay $17.50 an hour.\nCompetitive wages offered to qualified candidates\nRequires previous manufacturing experience\nExceptional benefits offered – low-cost health insurance, 401K, dental/vision coverage, and much more!\nSafety-focused organization!\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nMinimum of 1 year of material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience required.\nPrevious experience operating a forklift required.\nPrevious experience operating a scissor lift preferred.\nMust be comfortable working at heights and operating elevated equipment.\nAbility to safely lift, move, and transport materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to follow safety procedures and work instructions.\nCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.\nEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate overtime and non-standard work hours as necessary.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nComplies with monitors and enforces all written and verbal safety regulations and programs of the plant and department. \nPass all required training to safely operate forklift and load hogs. \nUnderstand and adhere to plant policies and procedures. \nAbility to accurately count and record all types of materials - finished goods, raw materials, roll stock and scrap. \nPosition requires accurate entries of information via handheld scanners. \nProcess work orders, documents number of units handled, interpret verbal instructions to determine tasks, and transmit data for invoicing. \nStages finished product in proper locations within the warehouse. \nMoves freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or by using electric pallet trucks, forklifts, and other equipment. \nProficient in use of Warehouse Location Management System and can operate scanners efficiently and accurately to perform maintenance move operations to ensure maximum storage locations. \n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:\nAbility to work in an environment that is cold in wintertime, hot, or humid in the summer months.\n\nMACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE:\nMinimum of 1 year of experience operating a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.\nExperience operating a scissor lift safely and in accordance with company safety procedures.\nComfortable working at heights and able to perform tasks while operating elevated equipment.\nAbility to complete required equipment inspections and safely operate powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts.\nBasic understanding of warehouse equipment safety and OSHA guidelines.\nExperience using handheld scanners or warehouse inventory systems (preferred).\n\nPHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Steel Toed Shoes, Ear Plugs, and Safety Glasses)\nAbility to quickly move your hand, your hands together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, lift, manipulate or assemble objects.
