They establish high standards of quality, reliability and safety requirements in accordance with real company needs based on current regulations and state-of-the-art product and customer supplied quality plans. They organize and promote the company wide policies, procedures and quality improvement efforts. They lead root cause analysis, problem-solving, enforce ISO 9001 standards, and manage non-conforming materials during production and resolve customer complaints. Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality, reliability and safety.\nOrganizational Relationships: The Site Quality Assurance Manager reports directly to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager and must maintain close departmental relationship with the Engineering Manager and Plant Manager, as well as responsibility to all functional directors and managers.\nCore Responsibilities:\nFloor Leadership & Mentorship:\nWorks in conjunction with the Site Quality Assurance Supervisor to monitor the performance of the Quality Assurance Department and Quality Assurance Auditors.\nCompliance & Audit Management:\nPerforms in-process audits and coordinates internal compliance audits.\nEnsures strict compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).\nKeeps all compliance files and documentation up-to-date.\nProblem Solving & Corrective Action:\nMonitors and analyzes quality metrics.\nLeads investigations into customer complaints and non-conformances.\nUses 5-Why methodology for root cause analysis.\nInitiates Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).\nEquipment & Documentation Control:\nTracks calibration intervals for measuring tools to ensure accuracy.\nWill coordinate with the Site Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure the floor Job Book work instructions are accurate and current.\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nPartners directly with the Engineering Staff during new product start-ups.\nCoordinates product revision changes with Site Quality Assurance Department.\nStreamlines cross-functional communication between floor operations and engineering, reducing response times for issues.\nResponsive Communication:\nRespond to all internal floor inquires and external or vendors in a timely, professional manner.\nQualifications:\nAt least 5 years of full-time, professional experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 2–3 years in a direct managerial or supervisory role.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Plastic experience a plus.\nMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in ISO 9001 and Internal Auditing\nStrong knowledge of quality control methodologies, root cause analysis and 5-Whys, and problem-solving skills.\nPrevious experience in APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, is a plus.\nExperience managing tool calibration schedules, job instructions and reading engineering blue prints.\nDemonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively and professionally across all channels, establishing strong rapport with external clients and collaborating seamlessly with internal teams up to the executive level.\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook\nEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours, as necessary.\nCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.\nAbility to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and work independently.\nA fast learner who can acclimate to new methodologies and ideas.\nInteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
