This position will perform tasks to install, maintain and/or repair plant production machinery such as plastic resin handling systems, co-extrusion cast film lines, pallet wrapping machines, and pre-stretch machines.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.\nCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.\nWorking knowledge of OSHA Regulations. 2. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.\nStrong mechanical trouble shooting skills.\nStrong electrical, electronic, PLC skills, and basic welding, pipefitting skills.\nAbility to work flexible hours, overtime and take call-ins.\nGood writing, reading and math skills\nAbility to use common precision measuring instruments, gauges and hand tools.\nMust possess a quality set of standard and metric size mechanic’s tools as well as basic electrical test equipment. (Muti-meter)\nUnderstanding of proper lubrication techniques.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRespond rapidly to all production breakdowns with a strong sense of urgency.\nDiagnose and remedy machine faults, both electrical and mechanical, and determine necessary repairs.\nInstall plant processing equipment piping including copper, stainless steel, plastic and iron pipefitting.\nTrouble shoot and repair vacuum, centrifugal, and reciprocating pumps.\nInspect all plant equipment and machinery for proper lubrication and perform other preventive maintenance such as draining air filters, changing panel air filters.\nWeld metal objects together by means of tig, oxyacetylene, and arc welder.\nPerform simple adjustments, repairs or replacements on motors, controls, VFD’s, on electrical equipment.
