Click here for more information about Altour.\nResponsibilities\nAltour has an exciting opportunity for experienced Corporate Travel Consultants to work with a top client to offer best in class travel consultation, quote and book accurate domestic & international, car and hotel reservations, ensuring all corporate travel policies are followed. The ideal agent will have experience working in Sabre GDS and have excellent customer service and communications skills. The schedule is M-F with shifts ranging 8-5, 9-6, 10-7, 11-8 or 12-9 ET.\nService inbound corporate and government travel requests.\nDeliver extraordinary customer service to all ALTOURGreet all clients with enthusiasm.\nProvide consultative service to travelers and travel arrangers throughout the booking process.\nComplete all reservations in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all corporate travel policies are followed.\nFollow applicable guidelines around Federal and State travel requirements, including the Fly America Act.\n\nSecure the lowest air/car/hotel rates available at time of booking.Utilization of client and ALTOUR negotiated programs when applicable.\nUtilize GDS low fare search capabilities.\n\nMaintain goal expectations in the following areas:Productivity - measured by transactions per day.\nQuality - minimal customer service issues.\n\nCustomer experience - measured through call monitoring performance.\nQualifications\n5 + years’ travel selling experience.\n5 + years’ customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry.\nExpert in international travel bookings and process\nTyping speed of at least 50 WPM\nExceptional/above & beyond, proactive customer service approach.\nExcellent travel industry knowledge.\nMastery in Sabre GDS, formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing, Smartpoint.\nCorporate travel experience required.\nExcellent multitasking skills, and able to service multiple accounts at a high level of customer service.\nExceptional communication skills both written and oral in English.\nEmbrace change, adapt to new technologies and process.\nLeadership Abilities:\nHas strong understanding of own skill set and development opportunities.\nTakes direction, offers suggestions, and asks for appropriate guidance when applicable.\nDemonstrates exceptional teamwork.Proactively offers support when ability matches need.\nActs as a leader among peers.\nThanks peers for support they have provided.\n\nConsistently demonstrates master of the guiding principles in daily work habits.\nAbility to provide constructive feedback to peers and leaders when appropriate.\nAbility to handle most difficult situations.May seek minimal guidance, but generally has solution at hand.\nAble to support peers in decision making.\nKnows when to escalate to a leader.\n\nStrong understanding of key Altour initiatives and employs strong change management skills consistently.\nPAY AND BENEFITS\nOur benefit offerings include choice of two medical plans and two dental plans, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSAs), company-paid life insurance and AD&D, optional additional life insurance and AD&D, disability insurance, paid parental leave, paid time off, 401k Plan with company match, discounted employee travel options, access to LinkedIn Learning webinars and courses.
