Click here for more information about Global Travel Collection.\nResponsibilities\nThe Luxury Leisure Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing support to an Independent Advisor with a high-volume leisure business. This individual is expected to assess the client’s needs and provide travel options that meet their expectations.\nThis is a full in-office position based in our Woodmere, NY office.\nResearch and execute client luxury leisure bookings, including hotel and villas, yachts, cruises, dining arrangements, trip proposals, and full-service concierge.\nInvestigate different travel destination options, travel prices, and customs.\nSuggest suitable travel options that best suit customer's needs.\nIs knowledgeable about world events and weather that might affect travel plans.\nEnsure that client is aware of all necessary travel documents and health requirements for countries to be visited.\nIndependently review client reservations for accuracy and quality.\nMaintain ownership of each client record until departure to ensure all details are completed to the client's satisfaction.\nAccess queues throughout the day\nHandle re-routing and exchange processes as necessary\nPrepare invoices, handle bookings, and manage spreadsheets\nUpdate client profiles as needed\nResearch and provide solutions to any travel-related problem clients may experience.\nMaintain awareness of all airline rules and regulations and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements.\nFollow up with clients upon their return, obtain feedback, and offer to assist with future travel plans.\nUnderstanding and implementing AXUS digital itinerary platform (can be taught as needed). \nPerform additional duties/projects upon request.\nQualifications\nAt least three (3) years of experience in the luxury leisure sector of the hospitality industry.\nMinimum of one (1) year of Sabre experience.\nCompetency with all ticketing processes including exchanges.\nExperience with high end and high demand travelers.\nAbility to function in a fast -paced, demanding environment with little supervision.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nPAY AND BENEFITS\nOur benefit offerings include choice of two medical plans and two dental plans, vision insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSAs), company-paid life insurance and AD&D, optional additional life insurance and AD&D, disability insurance, paid parental leave, paid time off, 401k Plan with company match, discounted employee travel options, access to LinkedIn Learning webinars and courses.
