Click here for more information about Altour.\nResponsibilities\nAltour has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Corporate Travel Consultant to work onsite with a large forward thinking entertainment corporate travel client. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the business, offering the best-in-class travel consultation. You will be responsible for quoting and booking accurate domestic & international travel reservations with a high level of customer service. You will be working in a fast paced office alongside a high energy team!\nThis role is onsite in a wonderful area in Santa Monica, CA.\nCompletes travel arrangements for clients' air, hotel, car rentals, trains, tour, and ground arrangements at the lowest possible price within corporate travel guidelines.\nFollow and suggest improvements in company procedures in the areas of customer service, documentation of PNRs and profiles, ticketing, invoicing, attendance, accuracy of work etc.\nMaintains ownership of each record until departure to ensure all details (including seat assignments, meal preferences, upgrades, etc.) are completed to the client's satisfaction.\nResearches and provides solutions to any travel related problem clients may have experienced with arrangements made by ALTOUR with total management awareness and participation.\nStays fully informed on all airline rules and regulations, tariffs, and fare requirements and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements.\nIs available for and receptive to training opportunities.\nIs Sabre proficient and maintains Sabre skills with relevant training.\nHas knowledge of and understanding of re-routing and exchange processes.\nStays abreast of technology and industry knowledge, especially with intranet tools provided by ALTOUR.\nProblem resolution to always include management.\nAssists other agents on the account.\nPerforms other office functions as needed and seeks ways to personally add to the overall efficiency of the operation.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nOverall travel industry knowledge and experience\nEssential; Must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with high level global clientele.\n7 - 10 years Sabre computer knowledge and proficiency.\nCompetent with all aspects of ticketing transactions.\nProficient with International Itineraries and rate structures.\nKnowledge of online booking tools a must.\nExperienced and comfortable with premium travelers.\nAttention to detail/conscientiousness/flexible\nProblem solving and initiative\nInterpersonal communication and relationship building skills\nWillingness to learn new functions and to enhance existing skills\nPatience and flexibility\nMinimum 7+ Years Industry Experience\nRegular and dependable attendance and punctuality are required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nOccasional travel may be required.\nSedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/ or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push or otherwise move objects.
