These include Mekonomen, MECA, BilXtra, FTZ, Fixus,INTER-TEAM, and Sørensen og Balchen, among others.\n\nAbout the role\nYou'll join a cross-functional product team working on a modern platform built with TypeScript.\nWe're looking for backend engineers who understand software architecture, enjoy solving complex problems, and are comfortable using AI tools in their daily work.\nWe value engineers who think beyond individual tasks, understand business needs, and actively participate in technical discussions before jumping into implementation.\nAI-assisted development is a natural part of our workflow, but engineers remain responsible for technical decisions, implementation, and code quality.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.\n\nTranslate business requirements into well-defined technical solutions, including clarifying requirements, identifying edge cases, and breaking down complex tasks.\n\nParticipate in system design and architecture discussions, evaluating different approaches and trade-offs.\n\nWork with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.\n\nUse AI coding tools and agents to support development, while critically reviewing and validating their output.\n\nWrite maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.\n\nCollaborate with developers, designers, and product stakeholders.\n\nWhat we're looking for\nSolid backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js (both required).\n\n Good understanding of API design, databases, and software engineering principles.\n\nAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.\n\nExperience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, etc.).\n\nA quality-focused mindset, including automated testing, code reviews, and maintainability.\n\nGood English communication skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed team.\n\nSenior position\nStrong system design and architecture experience, particularly with distributed and event-driven systems. You should be comfortable leading technical discussions, evaluating trade-offs, making architectural decisions, and mentoring other developers.\nMid-level position\nSolid engineering fundamentals, the ability to deliver tasks independently, and a good understanding of common architectural patterns. You should be comfortable participating in technical discussions and eager to develop your system design skills.\n\nTechnologies you'll work with\n Backend: TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis\n\nInfrastructure: Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Terraform, CI/CD\n\nAI Tooling: Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Hermes\n\nAI Engineering Practices: AI Coding Agents, Agentic Workflows, Context Engineering, Prompt Engineering, MCP, Agent Skills & Rules, AI-Assisted Code Review.\n\nYou don't need experience with every technology listed above.
