Identifying performance bottlenecks and issues. Collaborating with development and QA teams to optimize application performance.Designing and implementing performance test plans. Executing load, stress, and scalability tests. Analyzing test results and providing actionable recommendations. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address performance issues. Acquainted with industry trends and emerging tools in performance testing. Develop NFR automation tests targeting interactions between different services and components, timeouts, retries should be design per releases as and when needed.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerform the automation testing functions & support for Interac Corp. products and services, with a focus on the Money Movement product.\n\nReview functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of what we build and how to test it.\n\nDesign and document the Integration Automation Framework / document Integration Automation best practices with the goal of maximizing of test coverage and minimizing test cycles time via automation but reducing automation maintenance efforts/costs.\n\nEvaluate all scripts and recommending changes as per the requirements.\n\nEnhance the automation test strategy to incorporate microservices automation test strategy where it is relevant regarding Integration and end to end user process flow including all services dependencies and DB integration.\n\nDefine automation metrics and the process for collecting and validating these metrics, monitor efficiency of the automation activities of the Integration team.\n\nDevelop NFR automation tests targeting interactions between different services and components, timeouts, retries should be design per releases as and when needed\n\nWhat You Bring:\nMust have Experience\nComputer Science Degree or equivalent work experience.\n\n5+ years direct experience in software development with strong, hands-on experience in software automation testing, Performance testing, test case development, test execution, test results analysis, and test optimization.\n\nExperience in the creation, maintenance and optimization of automation frameworks including management of test reporting.\n\nProficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)\n\nExperience working within a formal CI/CD pipeline.\n\nStrong knowledge of C#, JavaScript.\n\nKnowledge of Selenium WebDriver.\n\nAPI testing using POST man or similar.\n\nKnowledge with web applications architecture, APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases\n\nEligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.\n\nKnowledge and experience\nKnowledge and experience with Git/Stash\n\nKnowledge and experience with Jenkins, Bamboo\n\nKnowledge and experience of micro-services architecture regarding integration and functional automation tests\n\nAgile team and methodology experience; Kanban experience is desirable.\n\nWhat We’re Offering:\nThe hiring range for this position is $90,000.00 - $105,000.00, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
