As a Senior team member, you will solve problems and help mentor others to ensure our applications are properly teste\nWhat You Will Do:\nContributing to the analysis and design of application solutions, while bringing forth innovative ideas and best practices to test these solutions across all phases of the SDLC.\n\nUnderstanding the software delivery life cycle to support the quality of critical 24/7 services.\n\nUnderstanding QA methodology and industry best practices, including standards within continuous integration (CI) model.\n\nHolding exceptional knowledge of best practices of quality assurance and testing standards.\n\nAnalyzing, understanding, and clarifying requirements\n\nSeeking to understand the software limitations and protocols.\n\nDeveloping test plans from requirements and use cases while ensuring optimal coverage.\n\nCreating test cases with sufficient detail to characterize the breaking point of the design, and proactively maintaining the test case suite upon design changes.\n\nDesigning and developing automated test suites to cover various phases of QA, including functional, security, and performance.\n\nEffectively prioritizing test execution while examining solution dependencies and risks.\n\nSetting up required test beds (software and network).\n\nExecuting scalable test cycles through manual and automated tests.\n\nClearly reporting defects with sufficient detail and proactively track them to resolution.\n\nDocumenting technical details, processes, and standard operating procedures to support the transfer of knowledge to other stakeholders.\n\nCreating test logs and reports, including roadblocks and system performance metrics.\n\nSupporting the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of internal tools and processes.\n\nCollaborate with the team to support scalable testing while leveraging innovative ideas.\n\nServe as a subject matter expert in the troubleshooting of a service during incident management.\n\nPromoting a positive culture of continuous improvement, transparency, open communications, and collaboration.\n\nLeadership, coaching and mentoring of team members in performance and completion of work.\n\n What You Bring:\n3-5 years of automation testing experience\n\nCompleted a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nMust be eligible to work in Canada in a Full Time Capacity.\n\nYou have a Government of Canada Secret (Level I) clearance OR are eligible to obtain one\n\nStrong and personable collaboration characteristics.\n\nOutcome and results driven.\n\nCommunicate effectively, write concisely and clearly.\n\nProcess driven and organized.\n\nWork autonomously with attention to detail.\n\nFocused and analytical problem solver.\n\nAvid learner of new technology and understand technical concepts.\n\nStrong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work, both personally and at a team level.\n\nAbility to adapt to different project needs and adopt appropriate techniques and tools for testing automation.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nAbility to performance, integration, and security testing.\n\nExperience with test automation, including Selenium, JMeter, and Junit.\n\nSecurity testing standards and tools, such as OWASP ZAP.\n\nComfortable with cloud-based infrastructure solutions, including Azure.\n\nExperience with Docker and Ansible.\n\nWorking knowledge of server-side web development in Java EE and Spring Boot.\n\nExperience with Linux/Unix based system.\n\nWhat We’re Offering:\nThe hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
